Volunteer and Site Services Senior Director

Job Summary
Oversee recruitment, training, management, and coordination of meal delivery, warehouse, and office volunteers while directing site services operations and logistics. Lead the volunteer and site services teams to develop long-term strategies for engagement, retention, and program growth, ensuring sites are adequately staffed and equipped. Manage the Adopt-A-Route program, coordinate with community partners and corporations, and serve as the key point of contact for volunteer inquiries and special events. Design and deliver training programs, maintain compliance protocols, and analyze data to report on program impact to senior leadership. Represent the organization at public events and assist with mission work including food distributions and meal preparation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- minimum of four years of experience in volunteer relations, community relations or fundraising for a not-for-profit or corporate organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Innovative, self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support FeedMore WNY events
- Valid and current driver's license and access to an automobile
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 35 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge, CERVIS or other donor database/volunteer management system a plus
