Job Summary

Voluntary Benefits Claims Specialist will support the Delivery Capability team with onboarding, customer administration, and claims processing for voluntary products. The role partners with vendor and internal stakeholders to assist in onboarding, customer administration, and claims of voluntary products, and may lead projects related to process improvements. Responsibilities include project reporting, system testing, coordinating meetings and deliverables, coaching claim managers, documenting and updating standard operating procedures with the vendor and Prudential, serving as a bridge between vendor and internal teams (Risk, Legal, Compliance), overseeing disability and medical claims integration, increasing utilization and simplifying claims, providing data for leadership, supporting RFP responses, training the voluntary benefits platform, handling claims escalations, reviewing appeals, and monitoring vendor metrics and quality to improve customer experience. Requires proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and a bachelor's degree; prior supplemental health claims experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Graduate/Bachelors Degree
  • Familiar with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Experience in Supplemental Health claims preferred
