Job Summary
Prep Dig showcase director leads the execution of youth basketball and volleyball tournaments nationwide. Responsibilities include planning and organizing pre-event details with the event team (gathering event supplies, print orders, and assigning participants to courts), executing events with check-in, run of show, and wrap-up, and ensuring a high-quality participant experience. You will communicate with venue staff, troubleshoot onsite, and uphold first-class showcases. Required strengths include strong organization, event-management experience for 50–200 participants, decisive problem-solving under pressure, personable communication, people-management abilities, and tech proficiency (Google Docs/Sheets). The role places you as the face of the events team, coordinating across venues and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in running showcase events with between 50-200 participants is highly preferred
- Organized work style and multitasking ability
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience managing groups of 10 or more
- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and related tools
