Job Summary
Volunteer Coach leads athletes in the designated sport and provides expert instruction, fostering a positive youth sports culture. Responsibilities include leading practice sessions focused on fundamentals and fun, teaching core concepts including Sportsmanship values, communicating game-day information to players and parents, maintaining a positive attitude and superior customer service, and supporting online training opportunities. The role emphasizes coaching experience, effective communication, independence, and availability on weekends/evenings for the full season (~7 weeks).
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season)
