VOLLEYBALL HEAD COACH (MS)

Job Summary
Lead and supervise the middle school volleyball program; promote the program within the District, community, and media; ensure the welfare and safety of student athletes; work with teachers and counselors to support academic progress; demonstrate and model appropriate techniques for volleyball; plan organized practices with conditioning, warm-ups, and fundamentals; supervise athletes during practices, games, and away trips; coordinate with the Athletic Director for transportation, lodging, and meals; evaluate assistant coaches; maintain equipment and uniforms; ensure compliance with school, District, AIA, league rules, policies, and governing board guidelines; foster a positive image of District activity and promote academic achievement.
Required Qualifications
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff, student athletes, officials and media to promote a positive image of District activity
- Demonstrated ability to relate effectively with staff, students and parents
