Job Summary
Conduct daily volleyball coaching sessions for Waters MS, applying extensive knowledge of rules, skills, and VHSL regulations while maintaining program-centered focus and good sportsmanship. Manage a team of children with prior experience at the college, club, or professional level. Handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for several hours per day within a moderate physical activity environment. Submit a standard on-line application including two letters of reference and a recent TB test or screening.
Required Qualifications
- Must have extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport applying for
- Must be program centered
- Must have specific skills
- Must exhibit good sportsmanship
- Must have knowledge of VHSL rules
- Must work well with children
- Must have previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach preferred
