VOLLEYBALL ASST. COACH (MS)

Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of the middle school volleyball program, including coaching, safety, and academic progress; implement program philosophy; assist head coach in promoting the program within the District, community, and media; enforce written rules/expectations with student athletes and parents; supervise athletes in practice areas, on buses, and during away trips; plan and monitor organized practices with proper conditioning, warm-ups, and fundamentals; develop athletes to the highest degree of skill and integrity; model respectful behavior and promote Victory with Honor; follow Athletic Handbook policies and procedures and district policies; collaborate with other coaches and booster club; assist with equipment and uniform inventory; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must hold current CPR/first aid certification
- Must hold current AIA coaching certification
- Demonstrate organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff, student athletes, officials and media to promote a positive image of District activity
