VOLLEYBALL ASSISTANT COACH (High School)

Assist with the Lawrence USD 497 high school volleyball program as an Assistant Coach under the Head Coach. Responsibilities include maintaining evaluation records, enforcing KSHSAA rules, managing the squad roster, ensuring completion of pre-participation physicals and necessary forms for eligibility, supervising practice sessions, guarding locker-room security, advising students on squad matters, reporting injuries to school officials, supporting overall athletic program decisions, organizing equipment checkout, submitting practice schedules, and assisting with scouting and various duties as assigned. Must be CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain certification; coaching experience is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly, analyze situations quickly, respond to information requests courteously, work cooperatively with others, and travel as needed. Terms include a twelve-month supplemental contract with season stipend and hourly pay for eligible staff.
