Job Summary
Inspect, service, and prepare new and used vehicles according to factory standards and dealership specifications. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, test-drive vehicles using diagnostic tools, and communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional service needs and time estimates. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications while maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of current models to effectively communicate with service and sales staff. Comply with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
- Clean driving record/ valid CA drivers license
- Offers of employment contingent upon successfully passing background screening (incl. criminal background check, review of motor vehicle records, verification of SSN and passing drug test at a certified testing facility)
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certifications are ideal
- OEM certifications are encouraged!
- Technical or trade school degree preferred
