Job Summary
Diagnose and repair major vehicle components, including engine systems, brakes, suspension, and electrical issues, using handheld diagnostic tools. Perform multi-point inspections, conduct road tests to verify repairs, and document all work on repair orders. Communicate with service advisors regarding additional needs or delays, and maintain manufacturer certifications to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. Assist fellow technicians, mentor novice team members, and ensure vehicles are returned clean and compliant with all safety and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- ASE certifications
- Manufacturer certifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Basic tools
- Great technical and mechanical skills
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Minimum of eighteen years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
