Job Summary
Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to accurately document service needs. Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire services, brake repair, suspension, transmissions, and more. Prepare accurate auto estimates using dealership systems and communicate costs clearly to customers. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity. Process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records. Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding repair status, additional recommendations, and vehicle readiness. Promote dealership services proactively to maximize customer satisfaction and retention through effective sales techniques. Ensure all service documentation complies with company policies and industry standards. Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary components promptly for repairs or maintenance tasks. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- College Degree, Vocational/Trade Certificate, High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 3 years of proven dealership experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role with Volkswagen expertise preferred
- Familiarity with automotive software and service writing processes (Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus)
- Experience in upselling services while maintaining honesty and transparency with customers
