Job Summary
Deliver Tier 1/Tier 2 VoIP and A/V support to a federal government client, managing customer expectations while presenting professional images and delivering briefings. Administer Cisco UCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom systems, including patching, vulnerability management, and daily operations. Monitor performance and reliability to ensure minimal downtime, troubleshoot equipment issues in conference and executive rooms, and escalate Tier III problems to vendors. Create technical documentation, develop disaster recovery plans, and conduct market research to recommend strategic infrastructure improvements. Work onsite in Alexandria, VA, with a 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills
- 5 years' experience with VoIP and A/V administration
- Work onsite at the customer's location in Alexandria, VA
- 24x7 On-call rotation for after-hours support
- Nights and/or weekends troubleshooting, maintenance, and any other special circumstances
- Self-starting individual with the ability to work independently on issues with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented technical and strong analytical skills
