Job Summary
Instruct students in 30-minute voice lessons, assess new student abilities, and create tailored lesson plans. Prepare students for recitals and facilitate their participation in performances, while assisting them in reaching their learning goals. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress. This role requires a minimum one-year commitment and involves teaching on multiple instruments including piano, guitar, and ukulele. The position offers competitive pay at $25.00 per hour with benefits available to employees and immediate family members.
Required Qualifications
- Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
- Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
- Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is not required, but is always a plus
- The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.) is always welcome!
