Vocational Teacher - Agriculture

Job Summary
Teach agriculture/vocational education aligned to district and state standards; plan, prepare, and deliver lessons; deploy varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles; stay current with standards, curricula, resources, and trends; integrate technology in the classroom; assess, record, and report student progress; communicate with parents/guardians; participate in collaborative planning and professional development; maintain proper records and timelines; provide supervision for students; uphold district policies and procedures; engage in continuous professional growth and collaboration with colleagues; adapt instructional practices to individual student needs and IEPs when applicable; honor the outlined contract length (235 days) and the district’s evaluation framework.
Required Qualifications
- Teaching license in the appropriate grade, or content area; or the ability to obtain a technical permit.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the content area with an Associate Degree or 4 years work experience in the area.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in grade level, school, and district teams.
