Vocational Support Specialist - DMH

Provide individualized vocational support to clients with disabilities, developing and implementing service plans to help clients achieve vocational goals. Facilitate skill development in vocational, social, and independent living areas; coordinate paid, work-based learning experiences; provide on-site job support to help clients learn job duties and integrate into the workplace. Serve as liaison between employers, clients, and stakeholders; educate employers on benefits of hiring persons with disabilities and facilitate job accommodations. Maintain documentation, monitor progress toward goals, collaborate with referral sources and employers, advocate for clients, and participate in required trainings. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field; background checks and valid driver's license required; ability to work evenings/weekends.
