Job Summary
Provide one-on-one vocational support to young people aged 12–25 experiencing mental health challenges by developing tailored career profiles, employment plans, and assisting with job searching, resume development, and interview preparation. Work closely with clinicians to ensure integrated, person-centred care while building relationships with local employers to create meaningful job opportunities. Maintain a caseload of approximately 20 participants and deliver ongoing in-work support to help young people succeed and thrive. This hands-on, relationship-driven role is part of a multidisciplinary team at an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service committed to culturally safe, holistic care for youth in the Mount Isa region.
Required Qualifications
- Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check

- Experience in employment, vocational or social inclusion services
- Knowledge of local labour market trends or education pathways
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience
