Job Summary
The Vocational Specialist role involves providing assessment, coordination, advocacy, and direct support to clients within the ACTI/ACTII programs to facilitate community integration. Key responsibilities include engaging clients to establish trusting relationships, delivering career counseling and job development support, assisting clients with benefits information, conducting job development activities, and collaborating with mental health treatment teams. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have two years of experience in supported employment or related services. Supported Employment Professional Certification may substitute for some experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in human services, business, or a related field
- Two years’ full-time experience in supported employment or related services for individuals with a physical or mental disability
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
