Job Summary
Vocational Evaluator responsibilities include administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of vocational tests; analyzing medical, psychological, socio-economic, vocational and educational information; developing formal evaluation plans; conducting community-based assessments; creating reports outlining vocational aptitudes, interests, and abilities; gathering occupational information; participating in multidisciplinary teams; and partnering with consumers, families, employers, and school personnel to support job planning and placement. The role is housed in the Elizabeth City VR/IL Unit serving multiple counties, with travel required and a hybrid-teleworking schedule offering weekly onsite work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in vocational evaluation, rehabilitation counseling, or closely related human services field from an accredited institution; or Bachelor’s degree in vocational evaluation, rehabilitation counseling, or a closely related human services field from an accredited institution and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
