Job Summary
Provide vocational training, instruction, and supervision for individuals assigned to the Individuals Written Program at the Center for Industrial Training facility. Develop and implement vocational plans to support people with disabilities in finding meaningful employment and leading self-directed lives. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm (40 hours) or 2:30 pm (35 hours), with no weekends or holidays. This entry-level role offers a competitive wage of $16.26/hour and includes full health, dental, and vision insurance at no cost to the employee, along with three weeks of paid vacation in the first year.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma/GED
- Must possess physical stamina including the ability to lift and carry minimum of 45 pounds and stand for up to seven (7) hours
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be able to keep track of multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be flexible and patient
- Must be respectful, discreet with confidential information, and honest
- Must enjoy helping people
- Monday-Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm (40 hours) or Monday-Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm (35 hours)
- No weekends, or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- One year work experience in vocational rehabilitation or related field
