Job Summary
Conduct vocational assessments to identify strengths, interests, skills, and employment goals for veterans and individuals with disabilities. Develop individualized employment plans, provide resume development, interview preparation, and job readiness training. Assist clients in obtaining competitive employment through job coaching, workplace support, and ongoing follow-up services to promote retention. Build relationships with local employers to identify openings and match qualified candidates based on skills and needs. Maintain accurate case notes, employment records, and service documentation while ensuring compliance with program requirements and funding sources. Travel regularly throughout the Fairfax service area to deliver field-based services.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel throughout the service area
- Ability to complete required background screenings
