Job Summary
Vocational Coordinator within Y-Haven’s Workforce Development program in Northeast Ohio. Responsible for creating and stewarding employment and education partnerships, leading support groups, providing case management for residents deemed hard to employ, linking residents to job-search and training resources, and developing individualized vocational plans to improve employment outcomes. Supervisory relationship to Executive Director. Primary objectives include linking each resident with job search or training programs, leading Find Job/Keep a Job groups, and tracking employment progress across residents.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Licensed Social Worker (LSW, LISW, LISW-S), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S), or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDCII, LCDCIII, LIDCC, LICDC-CS)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Must have successful experience facilitating SUD group counseling
- Must have extensive knowledge of Substance Use Disorders and co-occurring Mental Health Disorders
- Must have at least one year experience in SUD Counseling
- Must have basic computer skills, using Microsoft Office applications
- Should have working knowledge of OHMAS, CARF and VA program compliance standards
