Job Summary
Vocal Music Teacher for secondary (7-12) students in the Watson Chapel School District. Full-time, 190-day contract with on-duty hours of 7 hours 40 minutes per day and potential after-school/evening events. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality vocal music instruction, engaging students, maintaining student records, administering and interpreting assessments, collaborating with parents and other staff, planning lessons with approved curricula, sponsoring extracurricular activities, supervising students, and ensuring adherence to district policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education and a valid Arkansas teaching license for the assigned grade level/subject matter; pre-employment background checks are required. The role involves working primarily in an indoor school environment with occasional outdoor duties and professional development participation.
