VNOC Resiliency Specialist (Event Analyst)

Job Summary
Monitor enterprise network, on-premise, and cloud infrastructure health using SolarWinds, Elastic, and APM dashboards to catch system degradation or outages. Triage incoming outage calls, acknowledge automated alerts, and route events to technical engineering teams based on established rules. Execute standard runbooks for first-line response during Major Incidents and coordinate escalations with Incident Managers. Manage incident lifecycles in ServiceNow and Jira, ensuring strict SLA compliance and precise documentation. Maintain shift turnover logs and conduct detailed handovers to incoming day-shift personnel, compiling event timelines for post-incident reviews. Support change management by observing dashboard health statuses during scheduled maintenance windows. Requires current DoD Secret Clearance, 1 to 3 years of IT Operations Center experience, and ability to work 12-hour night shifts on the Pitman Schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT Operations Center (NOC/SOC) environment, Tier 1/2 IT Helpdesk, or relevant Military Operations (such as communications, cyber, or logistics)
- Fundamental Cloud Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and exposure to AWS or OCI environments (such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations level)
- Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- Ability to work night shift schedule (Pitman Schedule: 12-hour night shifts)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Jira) and monitoring tools (such as SolarWinds, Elastic, APM) is highly preferred
