Job Summary
Establish and foster relationships with the sales department and customers to understand sales potential and ascertain needs. Execute vendor managed inventory agreement requirements that maximize profitability, monitor inventory usage and levels, and place or expedite re-orders per defined points. Scan and replenish customer stock, assist with inventory physical movement and organization, and conduct onsite assessments and evaluations as needed. Train new hires on VMI processes and identify opportunities within assigned accounts. Review customer concerns regarding billing, credit, and products, referring issues to appropriate departments for resolution. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; Associate's degree preferred. Location is Hawthorne, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of project management, procurement, or customer service experience
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- High School or GED
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and/or Access
- Basic knowledge of features, benefits and use/application of broad range of Industrial products
- Strong communication skills
