Job Summary
VMI Inventory Specialist at a Hajoca Profit Center (North Highlands, CA) responsible for replenishment of materials, daily cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies, coaching and developing associates, assisting Will Call/consignment operations, and maintaining safe, organized warehouse procedures. Requires 1+ year warehouse inventory experience, valid driver’s license, strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to analyze data and solve problems, and the ability to learn forklift operation and warehouse computer systems. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of warehouse inventory handling experience
- Possess a proper and valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
- Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Be able to proactively research and analyze data and solve problems
- Possess strong organization and multi-tasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
