Job Summary
Provide technical leadership and ongoing maintenance of the storage infrastructure architectural design, strategies, and plans. Manage configuration and layout of storage infrastructure, design data migration architectures, analyze environment and transfer knowledge, plan capacity and disaster recovery, and support VMware configurations including VADP/Networker integrations; deliver future documentation and coordinate EMC-end-client team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience backing up VMware using VADP and NetBackup (Networker) processes and procedures
- ESX and Virtual (or Physical) builds support and configuration
- Knowledge transfer documentation for end-client
- Capacity planning and disaster recovery design and planning
- ITIL process planning
- Participation in Root Cause Analysis reviews as applicable
- Facilitate integration of EMC and end-client team work streams
- Provide documentation of knowledge transfer to end-client
- Best practice knowledge transfer and environment analysis
- Ability to perform storage infrastructure maintenance and change management per EMC and customer policies
