Job Summary
Visual Merchandising/Cabinetry/Woodworking-focused Production Specialist responsible for the construction, installation, finish, transportation and management of visual elements for store marketing presentations, events, pop-up shops, and prototypes. Core duties include planning and executing projects, operating power tools, ensuring safety compliance, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, driving delivery vehicles, reading technical drawings, and collaborating with in-store teams and regional/corporate partners. Requires ability to travel, work flexible schedules, proficiency in MS Office, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the capacity to work in a high-production environment within Nordstrom's store-design context.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Visual Merchandising/Cabinetry/Woodworking
- Knowledge of basic/advanced building techniques
- Ability to read Technical drawings
- Proficiency in all basic Computer Software, including MS Office
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to build strong relationships with in-store teams, regional/corporate merchants and store/general managers
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
