Job Summary
Lead end-to-end proposal development with full accountability for 100% compliance, timely delivery, and strategic alignment. Proactively partner with Solutions and Capture teams to shape compelling, customer-focused messaging and integrated win themes. Manage high-performance operations including kickoff meetings, daily stand-ups, and milestone reviews to ensure team alignment. Own proposal architecture by developing compliant outlines, creating templates, and establishing quality control protocols. Facilitate color reviews and final QA to ensure polished, strategically positioned submissions. Manage final production and submission while overseeing post-submission follow-up. Maintain proposal assets and knowledge bases to support continuous improvement and organizational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven success supporting small business growth in federal contracting and managing proposals over $5M
- 5+ years of experience as Proposal Manager, leading Federal proposals
- 3+ years of experience as Proposal Coordinator to include writing / editing experience
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills; adept at juggling multiple priorities, balancing competing deadlines, and maintaining composure under pressure in fast-paced, remote environments
- Proven knowledge and experience in supporting efforts to elevate proposal quality, optimize evaluation scores, and contribute to increased win rates
- Proficiency in Shipley methodologies and industry best practices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, editing, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in market research tools: GovWinIQ, eBuy, SAM.gov, FPDS
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, desktop publishing and AI tools
