Job Summary
The Vitamin Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market delivers prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in the Vitamin Department. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining department displays, accurately pricing merchandise with shelf tags/signs, answering questions using vitamin knowledge, educating customers within proper parameters, and sharing knowledge of weekly ad items while guiding customers to product locations. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicating with customers and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be able to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills and ability to interact with customers
- Ability to interact in a team environment
- Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health
- Able to perform repetitious activities, multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- Able to stand, walk, bend, climb for the shift and lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Able to walk up to 3 miles in an 8 hour shift
- Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations
- Be able to perform other related duties as assigned
