Visually Impaired

Teach Exceptional Student Education (ESE) in a Tampa, FL classroom; design and implements Specially Designed Instruction, accommodations, and supports per state standards and IEP goals; develop and monitor IEPs with present levels, goals, and required services; create a positive learning environment for students with disabilities; employ diverse teaching techniques; observe, assess, and maintain student performance data; manage classroom behavior with evidence-based interventions; communicate progress to parents and district personnel; ensure health and safety, maintain confidential records and FTE documentation; participate in workshops to advance ESE knowledge and skills; requires Florida Professional Educator Certificate in ESE (preferred) or eligibility for Florida Temporary Certificate; duties may evolve with district needs.
