Job Summary
Develop and execute seasonal and multi-year visual merchandising strategies for global teams and cross-functional partners. Maintain and evolve global visual standards documents in collaboration with Product Management, Regional Merchants, and Brand teams to ensure consistent, authentic consumer experiences. Gather and document visual tools, processes, and communications that support seamless product implementation across all go-to-market stages. Participate in regional store visits to drive consistent brand presentation and collaborate with Regional VM teams to establish store results and best practices. Assist with new store openings globally by supporting VM standards training in the field and create ad hoc communications regarding business changes impacting product presentation. This role is based in North Vancouver with hybrid remote options, offering a salary range of CAD$71,000 - CAD$93,000.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Visual Merchandising, Art & Design, Marketing, Brand or Business Management
- 2+ years of field experience in retail visual merchandising
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and SketchUp
- An eye for product, product presentation, styling and colour
- Strong cross-functional collaborator
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Familiarity with the Arc'teryx brand and products
- Strong understanding of the active apparel market within the outdoor industry, and the key outdoor activities we make product for
- Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Eligible to work in Canada
