Job Summary
Lead and mentor the Visual Merchandising team, developing and executing strategies that enhance the customer experience while supporting sales and merchandising objectives. Partner with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams to create cohesive showroom presentations, seasonal campaigns, and layouts. Oversee merchandising timelines, manage departmental payroll and scheduling, and ensure visual standards are consistently executed across all showroom locations. Collaborate with the Accessory Buying team on selections and attend markets to identify emerging trends. Monitor showroom maintenance, support inventory activities, and analyze performance to drive showroom effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of progressive experience in visual merchandising, retail merchandising, interior design, or showroom management, including leadership experience
- Proven experience leading creative and merchandising teams in a multi-location retail environment
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, space planning, product presentation, color coordination, and customer shopping behavior
- Experience collaborating with buying, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to execute company initiatives
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards
- Ability to analyze merchandising performance and make data-driven recommendations to improve showroom effectiveness
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to showroom locations and attend industry markets as needed
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with merchandising, space planning, or design software is a plus
