Job Summary
Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor, ensuring displays support abundance, clarity, repetition, and storytelling. Stock product appropriately, participate in seasonal floorsets and window displays, and process incoming/outgoing packages including curbside pickups and ship-from-store orders. Perform accurate stock checks, prepare the stockroom for inventory, and greet customers to respond to questions and process payments. Collaborate with the team to uphold safety standards, maintain loss prevention protocols, and drive sales through suggestive selling and product demonstrations. Communicate promotions and loyalty programs to customers while utilizing relevant systems for pricing and operational routines.
Required Qualifications
- A positive, creative and adaptable spirit that supports collaborating across teams to ensure visual merchandising drives both customer experience and sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and other associates
- General knowledge of office equipment, including computer and printer, Point of Sale (POS) system, AS400 system, company email system, company learning management system, telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine, SKU and tagger guns, tape machine, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck/dolly, baler, calculator, electronic two-way radio with earpiece
- Good reading and written language skills (English), strong communication skills, basic arithmetic, interpersonal skills, telephone presence, data entry skills
- Ability to work in a flexible environment, shift quickly as our business evolves, and focus on continuous learning
- Engage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training
- Demonstrate creative problem solving to maintain a solutions-oriented and teamwork focus
- Retail experience preferred, specifically visual merchandising
- Customer service experience preferred
