Job Summary
Visual Merchandiser responsible for creating inspiring store displays and maintaining product presentation in line with Bachman’s image. Duties include planning, preparing, installing, remerchandising, restocking and organizing displays; assisting with seasonal changes; quarterly travel to all stores; and communicating store needs to Visual Merchandising management. Must coordinate multiple projects, lift heavy items, and work Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) at the Maplewood, MN location. Strong organizational, communication, and manual skills required; prior merchandising experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years Visual Merchandising experience desired
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math
- Ability to work unsupervised, independently and demonstrate leadership
- Ability to prioritize daily schedule and identify areas needing attention
- Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work well with others
- Professional appearance and interaction with co-workers and customers
- Manual skills such as painting, sewing, ladder climbing
