Job Summary
Join West Elm's Visual Team in Tampa to develop your design and merchandising skills within a dynamic retail environment. You will collaborate with a talented group to create in-store displays and experiential merchandising, apply space-planning knowledge, and adapt to changing business needs. The role requires effective communication, leadership, and the ability to motivate others, with physical requirements including mobility on the sales floor and lifting up to 75 lbs. A flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends is required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in merchandising or visual role
- Effective communication, organization and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
- Ability to work independently but also part of a bigger team.
- Knowledge of space planning.
- Able to pivot and react to changing business needs.
