Job Summary
Visual Manager leads the store’s visual and product strategy as part of the store leadership team. Responsible for planning, product presentation, merchandising, and using performance data to inform visual execution and stock decisions. Oversees visual standards on the sales floor, coordinates visual floor changes through budgeting and payroll, and partners with General/Store Manager on budgets, reporting, and KPI-driven opportunities. Leads the Visual team with accountability and coaching, supports recruitment and succession planning, and collaborates cross-functionally to meet company goals. The role requires constant movement in and around the store, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a full-time schedule including peak-season shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
