Job Summary
Educate patients, perform ancillary testing including visual fields, topography, and OCT, and prepare individuals for exams or treatments. Take visual acuity measurements, conduct basic screening tests, and gather medical history. Answer patient questions while reinforcing education and treatment plans. This role requires excellent customer service skills, multi-tasking ability, and keyboard experience. On-the-job training is available for candidates with no prior ophthalmic experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willing to be able to multi-task
- Keyboard and computer experience
- One year of work experience in medical office setting preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Ophthalmic experience preferred but not required/ on the job training available

- Willing to learn basic ophthalmic techniques
