Job Summary
Performs optical testing to determine spectacle-lens characteristics using lensometer/autolensometer; conducts visual field tests including confrontation fields, Humphrey, VRVF, tangent screen, and Amsler grid; performs insertion/removal of hard and soft contact lenses; conducts auto refraction; educates patients on testing procedures; facilitates testing across departments; serves as liaison between physicians, patients, and staff; ensures equipment calibration and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards; participates in clinical research; travels to satellite eye centers as needed; works evenings and weekends. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and 0-1 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong patient communication skills.
