Job Summary
Create and produce all visual communications directed to the field and partner with cross-functional teams to define the overall visual vision for retail. Direct production of communications, participate in visual floorsets and mock store set-ups, develop and execute seasonal visual style guides and mid-season memos, outline photobook timelines, produce training materials, manage the Visual Communication SharePoint site and visual photo archiving, and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional partners. Occasional travel to stores to assist with visual floorsets, assist with styling during mock store setups, and contribute to idea generation. Requires strong writing, layout, graphics manipulation, and Adobe Creative Suite skills, plus project management, communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. BS/BA in design or related field and 1 year of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA required in design, art or related degree
- 1 year of experience in visual merchandising or related creative field
- Previous project management experience in a deadline driven environment
- Knowledge in visual merchandising techniques, standards and practices
- Ability to set realistic short and long-term goals
- MAC computer skills including knowledge of the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365; Outlook, Exel, Onedrive, SharePoint, Word
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs., with safety techniques
