Job Summary
Design and edit visually compelling infographics and assets using Canva to communicate the organization's mission and impact. Review video content to ensure visuals, text, and branding align with messaging, while developing eye-catching graphics for social media posts, stories, and ads. Create materials that amplify the cause across digital platforms, including fundraising and advocacy campaigns, and actively engage with social media by liking, sharing, or commenting on posts. Maintain consistency with the visual identity and values while applying knowledge of current design trends and best practices. This volunteer role requires 8–10 hours weekly for 10+ months and must be performed by a female-identifying individual residing in the US or a neighboring country.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Canva with a portfolio showcasing experience in infographics, and social media graphics
- Basic understanding of video production and editing techniques
- Strong understanding of design principles and ability to create visually appealing content that resonates with diverse audiences
- Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week / 10+ months
- Must reside in the US or a neighboring country
- Must be female identifying
