Job Summary
Nexplore Instructor for Visual Arts & Cooking conducts in-person STEM/arts/fitness-focused after-school sessions for grades PreK-12, delivering standard-aligned instruction with provided lesson plans and materials. Responsibilities include teaching across multiple programs, preparing for instruction, reviewing lesson plans, engaging with site personnel and the Program Success Manager, administering accommodations and extensions as needed, and participating in family engagement efforts. Candidates should have an AA degree or higher, 2+ years of teaching/instructing experience, experience with children, reliable transportation, and strong communication/presentation skills. Schedule is fixed (Mondays, site in Georgetown Township/Jenison, MI) with compensation at $65 per class-hour.
Required Qualifications

- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
