Job Summary
Support Museum Experience Associates with frontline leadership, scheduling, and daily operations oversight while serving as site-wide Manager on Duty. Oversee reservation and POS software troubleshooting, manage cash counts and deposits, and provide training on reservation systems and customer service protocols. Collaborate with the membership department to drive engagement and repeat visits, ensuring staff are equipped with necessary documents and tools. Maintain availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to cover call-offs and breaks. This part-time role reports to the Visitor Services Manager at The Frick Pittsburgh, focusing on delivering a welcoming visitor experience and fostering a culture of accessibility and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work evening and weekend events
- At least one (1) year of previous supervisory experience
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects equally well independently, and as part of a team
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Clearance of a background check
- Must have open availability
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Schedule consistently works weekdays and weekends
