Job Summary
Provide directions, information, and assistance to visitors at Arlington National Cemetery; responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of ANC, assisting visitors, and delivering excellent customer service in person and via written communication; role requires walking long distances across varied terrain outdoors year-round, operating kiosks, and clear English communication; candidates should have an Associate’s Degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience (visitor use assistant, docent, park guide, or in-person customer service), or 5 years of relevant experience; security clearance (Public Trust or Secret) is required; position is full-time and customer-service oriented for a government contract with equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- no less than three years of relevant work experience; or five years of relevant experience (visitor use assistant, docent, park guide, or in-person customer service)
- ability to walk throughout the facility and stand for long periods
- outdoor work in all types of weather
- basic computer skills and ability to operate kiosks
- clear written communication via email
- English language proficiency
