Job Summary
The Visitor Engagement Facilitator provides informal education and engagement experiences at the museum, assisting guests, facilitating programs, and ensuring exceptional visitor experiences. Flexible working hours required, with strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend, evening, holiday hours and occasional extended shifts required
- Ability and interest in learning exhibits and their scientific principles
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to be professional and courteous with the general public
- Punctual, neat and accurate in work habits
- Excellent telephone, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work in a noisy and chaotic environment
- Able to interact with and manage large groups
- Reliable and a self-starter
- Math and English proficiency required
- Computer proficiency required
