Job Summary
Temporary Visitor Control Specialist at White Sands Missile Range who will manage visitor access, issue and maintain badges, process inbound visitor requests, maintain badge accountability and inventory, and perform Security Office administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with Army/DoD regulations. Responsibilities include issuing badges to personnel and visitors, escorting uncleared individuals as needed, learning Badging and Ccure systems, and supporting a 9/80 work schedule. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or associate degree, experience in a structured security environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and the ability to obtain the required DoD security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience working independently while managing multiple priorities in a structured environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience enforcing security procedures and interacting with personnel, visitors, and leadership
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)
