Job Summary
Supervise environmental engineering labs and field stations while teaching Environmental Sampling courses and other classes as needed. Train students in safe lab practices and assist undergraduate and graduate students with laboratory work. Order chemicals, equipment, and supplies, and monitor laboratory waste disposal efforts. Manage the department's laboratory infrastructure and provide technical guidance to students. This part-time academic year contract role requires an M.S. or Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and involves lifting up to 25lbs. Applications must be submitted by 8/02/2026 for guaranteed review.
Required Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) License or capability to obtain a PE license
- Experience in laboratory supervision and field environmental data collection
- Advanced students currently pursuing their M.S. or Ph.D.
