Job Summary
Teaching core and elective undergraduate psychology courses at Colorado Mesa University, with a standard load of 12 credit hours per semester. Roles include teaching in-person, hybrid, and distance delivery modalities, with primary responsibilities in instruction. Courses may cover Biopsychology, Drugs and Human Behavior, General Psychology, and Research Methods, and opportunities exist to teach in other psychology areas based on experience. Ability to teach in-person and online is required. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated excellence in teaching required courses, experience supervising undergraduate research, and advising/mentoring students. Proficiency with learning-management systems (e.g., Desire2Learn), video conferencing software, and Microsoft Office programs is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Psychology or related field required, ABD may be considered
