Job Summary
Visiting Instructional Assistant Professor of Art (Foundations and Digital) at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) to begin Fall 2026. The role focuses on undergraduate instruction in Art Foundations and Digital Media with a 4/4 teaching load in a full‐time, non‐tenure‐track, visiting 9‐month appointment. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate studio courses such as 3D Design (Foundations), Drawing I, and Digital Media I and II, along with student engagement, mentoring and advising, and participation in exhibitions and gallery activities. The faculty member will participate in departmental activities, support a collaborative program environment, and contribute to service tasks that support the Art program, department, and college. This position requires regular, in‐person instruction on campus. Qualifications include an earned MFA in Digital Media, Studio Art, or a closely related field by the start date; college‐level teaching experience; ability to teach foundational studio courses across multiple skill levels; and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and student engagement. Required Qualifications
