Job Summary

Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at Chatham University; one-year, full-time instructional position for the 2026–2027 academic year. Teach a full instructional load (standard 24 credits per academic year) across undergraduate biology majors, pre-health pathways, and graduate/professional programs; responsibilities include course preparation, delivery, assessment, student support, and coordination with biology faculty and health science programs to maintain instructional continuity. Requires Ph.D. in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, or a closely related field, and a strong background in anatomy, physiology, or related life sciences; experience teaching undergraduate biology or anatomy-related courses and commitment to inclusive teaching. Preference for experience teaching human anatomy/physiology, graduate/professional health science students, lab-based courses, and working in interdisciplinary or liberal arts settings.
