Job Summary
Provide one-on-one mentorship to youth in home, school, and community settings while identifying strengths to develop individualized support plans. Coach family and sibling visits according to county will, promote attachment to school and community, and mentor life skills for independent living. Connect youth and families to mental health services, substance use treatment, and vocational resources by providing information to case workers. Help identify and strengthen natural support networks and community-based relationships. Work with at-risk youth (ages 0–21) to reduce placement risk and foster long-term stability through direct support and advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, community engagement, or related experience
- Driver's License with the ability to maintain insurance throughout employment
